CAD Operator/Estimator

We are searching for a CAD Operator/Estimator with commercial glass experience

CAD Operator/Estimator Qualifications: 

  • Knowledgeable of architectural aluminum metals (storefront) and glass 
  • Success in this position requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints 
  • Qualified applicants are required to have 5+ years experience in the commercial glass industry
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD 2008, GDS, MSWord and Excel
  • Shop drawings, submittals, samples and close outs 
  • Quantity take offs from architectural plans, estimating, proposal writing, bid submission and tracking, 
  • Candidates must be highly organized, have strong organization/time management skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Candidates must meet or exceed attendance standards
  • Candidates must pass pre-employment physical with drug screening.
